The company

Halifax Estate Agents were voted the estate agency chain of the year for 2005, 2006 and 2007 and has over 300 branches across the country.

The brief

Following a successful trial across the South East where instructions doubled, HEA wanted to harness power of the radio to promote 27 of its Northern branches. We planned the campaign to break in September and October - key months for estate agents keen to increase activity in the lead up to Xmas.

The campaign

After researching the market, we recommended booking slots on Metro FM, Durham FM and Sun FM. The creative was designed to emphasise the size of Halifax Estate Agents - as part of a large, recognisable and trusted brand. The radio campaign was underpinned by regional and local press activity.

The results

Despite the toughening housing market at the end of 2007, the branches promoted experience an uplift in instrusted compared to those not advertised.
